linocut

for art I had to make a logo out of lino. I made a picture of three prints, 2 better ones and one bad one. The middle one is the bad one because you can not see the C and you can see the C in the other two better. I got a six and a half for my linocut prints and logo and I'm pretty glad with that.

Poster

For art class we had to make a poster. I made a poster about my tennisclub Animo, I goy a 6.8 for it and I'm pretty happy with that mark. Personally I like the logo from Animo and the background but I'm not quit happy with the tenniscourt in the middle an the other letters.

For art class I had to draw a square with in the square severel things like an object from your pencase, something from your bedroom or something that has to do with your hobby. Anyway I got an eight for it and I'm very happy with that mark because I didn't expect such a high mark. You can see the artwork above this piece of text

cityscape

hello, I had to make an art assignment and it was about two-point perspective. I could not put a picture in here because the lines were to light. We had to make a two streets with vanishing points we had to make it look like the street disapear. We also had to make the buildings look like they disapear I did that by making them smaller. I got an 7.3 for my assignment and if I hadn't colour in somethings I could have had an 8 but that is just too bad

Landscape

This is an assignment for art and we had to make a landscape. It should look like that the mountains in the middle of the paper look further away than the ones on the front. I made it look like that by using darker colours for the ones close to me and lighter for the ones far away. I did the same for the air dark close to me light far away from me. I got a seven for this assignment and I am glad with it because normally I don't get very good marks for art. I also agree with my teacher because of course it is not perfect but I think it's not bad also.

assignment colour mixing

Johannes Itten was born in Südern-Lindern in the Bern Oberland in 1888. His father was a primery school teacher Johannes did that too but not for a long time he went to Geneva École des Beaux-Arts in Genf before taking a diploma to teach the secondary school. He thought he would be happier if he became a painter. But in 1919 he was invited to teach at the Bauhaus in Weimar. In 1932 he was still teaching at the Bauhaus until 1938 because than he emigrated to Holland. After that he became director of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zurich. He retired in 1955. Johannes Itten died on the 25th of March in the year 1967.

Itten's colour theory

Johannes Itten had a colour theory at which you only need three colours to make every other colour those colours ar red yellow and blue those are called the primary colours. When you mix the primary colours you get secondary colours so when you mic red and yellow you get orange, red and blue violet and blue and yellow you get green so orange, violet and green are the secondary colours. You can also add tint and shade to the colours with white and black to make it lighter of darker. Tertiary colours are formed when you mix a primary colour with a secondary colour like blue+violet= blue violet all the tertiary colours are yellow-orange, red-orange, red-violet, blue violet, blue-green and yellow-green. And then the Complementary colours are the opposite on the colour wheel like red and green, yellow and violet and blue an orange.

banknote

I had an accinment for art and I had to make a banknote with a lot of paterns. The first picture is the front side and the second picture is the backside. I got a six and a half for it and I am very glad with that mark because I tought I was going to get an incificiant mark. I think it is so bad because of al the spoiled ink that makes it ugly. After a lot of work and spoiling ink I finished it in time with a cificiant mark so I am happy about my work.
